It’s all about BBQ for South Dakota food truck

Barbecue, featuring generation-old recipes, is what the Southern Perfection BBQ food truck is all about.

Serving its fare in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, it’s owned by Chris and Joanna Glover who both boast big experience from barbecue cooking in Georgia, according to a SiouxFalls.Business report.

“My granddad barbecued for the family and the community,” Chris Glover told the news outlet. “When I met Joanna, her dad was really the inspiration. He taught me all the fundamentals, and I became infatuated with it. I was 19 at the time. Over the years, our passion for cooking evolved. We took the traditional recipes and put our own spin on it.”

The menu features Texas-style brisket, pulled pork, spare ribs and smoked chicken all made with homemade rub and there are three sauces: spicy, smoky and sweet and classic.

Sweet treats include cream cheese pound cake.
